New Chapter 13 Plan for Bankruptcy Court for the Central District of Illinois

December 12, 2019 9:12 AM | Christopher Smith (Administrator)

An updated version of the Local Chapter 13 Plan Form for use in the Central District of Illinois is now available. The changes include an additional notice in Part 1 regarding parties affected by plan provisions, clarification of the consequences of not checking boxes in Paragraphs A, B, and C of Part 1, the inclusion of a box to indicate the interest rate on secured claims for real estate taxes in Part 5.E., and a requirement that debtors set forth the liquidation analysis calculation in Part 6.A., rather than in Part 11.

Practitioners may begin using the new form immediately. Use of the new form will be mandatory effective January 1, 2020, pursuant to the First Supplemental Standing Order Regarding Mandatory Use of Local Chapter 13 Plan Form.

Please check out their website for an electronic version of the plan and the standing Order.

Sincerely,

BASIL
